Founded in 1992, the New England Percussion Ensemble^® (NEPE) has performed concerts in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Hampshire. NEPE / MA members are Bob Otto, Bill Manley, Ed Sorrentino, Bob Schulz and Rich Greenblatt. 

A very exciting development occurred when Sal Ranniello, Steve Collins and Chris Swist, all Connecticut residents, joined the group.  Response to the Connecticut branch of NEPE has been unbelievable as more and more schools and organizations learn about us.  Some of the comments we received after Connecticut performances are included in the “Testimonials” section.

The growth of the NEPE organization into two distinct branches - NEPE / MA and NEPE / CT creates the flexibility for us to be able to perform at more than one location at the same time.  Vermont and Maine branches will be established in the future.  The ensemble performs as a trio at all presentations.

All of NEPE’s members are top-notch musicians and educators.  They have been carefully selected, not only for their performance skills, but also for their outstanding ability to communicate effectively and relate positively with our audience members, regardless of age.
