About Us Program Descriptions

Although we most often perform for in-school audiences our presentations are very appropriate for many other situations.

Libraries

Most community libraries have a “Friends Of...” organization which sponsors programs for youngsters and adults.  Our “Language of the Ancients” program is highly suited for this – still educational and entertaining.  The Friends of the Sherborn (MA) and Falls Village (CT) Public Libraries definitely thought so.

Business Dinners & Functions

What better way to enhance your event than with a unique hour-long presentation by the New England Percussion Ensemble?  Most, if not all, of those attending will have never seen or heard anything like it.  Or does your company sponsor events for the children of your employees?

Scouts

Are the youngsters in your Girl Scout or Boy Scout troop persuing their music appreciation merit badge?  We performed for the Northboro (MA) Girl Scout Troop during an April school vacation, and their preparation before and participation during our program helped them accomplish their goal.

Senior Citizens

Age does not matter!  When we performed for Harris Elementary School in Woonsocket, RI the residents of the neighboring home for the elderly attended and loved it!!!  They became physically involved and mentally energized by the program, and volume was never a problem.

Town Recreation Departments

We performed for the City of Lawrence (MA) Recreation Department during a past July, and the kids were great.  Learning can certainly be fun, even when you’re on vacation and brains are “supposed” to be asleep.

Boy’s / Girl’s Clubs

Just ask the Woburn (MA) Boys / Girls Club how they liked our February show during a school vacation week.  Learning during vacation???  Unheard of...

Churches

Directors of church youth groups are always looking for unique presentations, and we certainly fit the bill.

Summer Camps

The youngsters at Camp Sewataro in Sudbury, MA and Camp Laurel in Lebanon, CT thought our presentations were “cool.”

Use your imagination!

We have also performed at:

Wang Center for the Performing Arts – Boston, MA

MESPA Convention Dinner – (Massachusetts Elementary School Principal’s Association) – Hyannis, MA
